My name is Elena and I like letting others talk about me. So I'm opening the comments on this post and letting those who know me say a few words about me. Also, if you're new here, please do use the comments to introduce yourself. More information about me can be found on my profiles on various social networking sites (listed on the bottom right), so start digging!

Selected Highlights:
- For those of you not familiar with the pronunciation of Macedonian names, Eh-leh-na is the correct way to say my name.
- Born in the early eighties in Skopje, Macedonia. Since November 2008, I am back in my hometown after almost a decade abroad.
- Spent a year in the US when I was 17 and graduated from High School there.
- I got both my BSc in Computer Management Information Systems and my MBA (Marketing Concentration) from the American College of Thessaloniki in Thessaloniki.
- Also hold a Certificate in Digital Media from the American College of Thessaloniki.
- Marketing is my favorite playground.
- A (mostly) self-taught graphic designer with over 7 years of experience in Ad agencies and in-house design departments. I've also done quite a bit of freelance work. Here's some of my work.
- I've spent a third of my so-far life living in Thessaloniki, Greece. After completing my undergraduate and MBA studies there, I continued working for my alma mater's Marketing Department.
- In the period 2005-2008, my professional focus was on Education Marketing/Communications.
- Very much into new media, web 2.0 technologies, social networking and promoting conversations.
- Also very much into everything travel-related. With Ivica, we maintain an independent couchsurfing-related blog, The CouchLog.
- I am trilingual (Macedonian, English, Greek).
- Since July 2009, I am the Executive Administrator of the Macedonian office of Eurofast Global, a financial services company. It's something completely different from everything I've done so far and, for the time being, it is a refreshing change of pace. Please note however, that my views on this website in no way represent the views of my current or past employers.
